Things never stay the same, and that’s no different for IPWSO!

Next year, we’ll see some of our Trustees complete their tenure of office and we’ll welcome new officers to the IPWSO Board. Thankfully, ex-officers never stray too far from our PWS community and remain good friends to IPWSO, continuing their volunteering role,  providing guidance, helping fundraise and promoting IPWSO in all corners of the world.  Sadly, next year, Marguerite Hughes, our dedicated and passionate CEO, will be moving on too.

Marguerite has solidified IPWSO’s standing in the international community; her passion, dedication and commitment has enabled IPWSO to make huge strides and she’ll be leaving us with a strong vision and deeply embedded values that promote equality, global solidarity, collaboration, and evidence-based research. She will, no doubt, be sorely missed!

Our job now is to find someone that can rise to the challenge of helping deliver IPWSO’s strategic plan with the support of our dedicated volunteers, experts, and small UK based staff team.

In this blog Marguerite tells us about her role – the challenges and rewards – and if you’re inspired, are a strategic thinker with leadership  experience, and, most importantly, have a commitment to promoting a more equal world for all those affected by PWS, we would like to hear from you.

More information on the role can be found below, or if you would like to discuss informally with Marguerite, contact her at mhughes@ipwso.org.
