Caregivers’ Conference 2027
Building better PWS care, together
IPWSO is delighted to announce that PWSA UK will co-host the 7th International PWS Caregivers’ Conference, to be held in Cambridge, UK, June 2027. This exciting partnership brings together international expertise and national leadership in support of a meaningful event for the global PWS caregiver community.
The Caregivers’ Conference brings together residential professionals from around the globe, alongside a wider group of contributors with expertise in PWS. Over three days, the programme will create opportunities for experienced providers and practitioners to share knowledge, exchange practical experience, and explore emerging approaches, supporting the continued development of best practice and strengthening the quality and consistency of care across different settings.
Hosted in the historic city of Cambridge, the 2027 conference will provide a setting for exploring developments in PWS care. Attendees can expect a programme reflecting key priorities in residential care for people with PWS, including understanding behaviour; communication and relationships; day-to-day living and care practice; workforce challenges; rights, inclusion and quality of life; current PWS research; international perspectives on care provision; and the role of architecture, environmental design and emerging technologies in improving residential environments and outcomes.
IPWSO is pleased to partner with PWSA UK in delivering the 2027 conference, building on their strong involvement in the PWS community. Together, we look forward to welcoming delegates from across many countries and to bringing the international community together to share knowledge and experience.
Further information on registration, the conference programme, speaker announcements, the call for abstracts, travel scholarships, sponsorship opportunities and accommodation will be shared as plans develop. Please check back regularly for updates and announcements as we look ahead to Cambridge 2027.

Prader-Willi syndrome is a complex genetic condition. Various studies have shown that between 1 in 15,000 to 25,000 children are born with Prader-Willi syndrome and it affects all races and both sexes equally.
Free Genetic Screening
If you suspect your patient has Prader-Willi syndrome, based on the clinical signs and symptoms, but are unable to access testing in your country, then you may be able to access free genetic screening.
