FPWR Travel Fellowships - 2025 United in Hope Clinical and Scientific Conference

The Foundation for Prader-Willi Research (FPWR) will offer a limited number of $1,000 USD travel awards to support trainees attending the 2025 United in Hope Clinical and Scientific Conference in Phoenix, Arizona. Travel funds can be applied to the conference registration fee, economy airfare, hotel, meals, and ground transportation. Applications must be completed in English. The deadline is January 31st 2025. Applicants will be notified by March 14th 2025. Eligibility Criteria: 1) Open to trainees (undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, medical residents, and clinical fellows); 2) No citizenship or residency requirements. 3) Priority will be given to applicants who are presenting authors at the Clinical and Scientific Conference (either an oral or poster presentation). Please submit the following as a single pdf and use the file name: last name_first name_travel_2025C&S: a) CV or Biosketch b) Letter of Recommendation from Mentor c) Brief statement (350 words or less) on your background, why you would like to attend and how you expect attendance at the Conference will advance your PWS research. Awards will be disbursed after the meeting, upon submission of a travel reimbursement form and accompanying receipts. Note: Abstract deadline: January 31st, 2025; Travel award application deadline: January 31st, 2025; Travel award decision notification: March 14th, 2025; PWS Clinical & Scientific conference: June 25th – 26th, 2025.
