General Assembly 2025
Notice of the General Assembly of the International Prader-Willi Syndrome Organisation (Charitable Incorporated Organisation, number 1182873) to be held at 5.00 pm (MST) on Saturday 28 June 2025 in the Arizona Room A, at the Arizona Grand Resort and Spa, Phoenix, Arizona.
Further to our recent call for items for the agenda of the General Assembly, and with no additional items having been submitted, the meeting will proceed according to the final agenda outlined below.
The Assembly will include:
- An overview of IPWSO’s recent work
- Election of the new Board (President and Trustees)
- Selection of the host country for the 2028 International Conference. We are pleased to announce that we received bids from PWS Associations in Brazil and China.

Voting Options
Voting is open to all members who have paid their 2025 subscription. You may vote in one of three ways:
1. Attend in Person
A parent or professional delegate may vote at the meeting. Deadline: Complete the online form by 5:00 PM (BST), 5 June to confirm your delegate.
2. Nominate a Proxy
You may appoint the Chair (Tony Holland) or someone else to vote on your behalf. Your Proxy must attend in person. Deadline: Complete the online form by 5:00 PM (BST), 5 June to assign your proxy.
3. Vote via Email (Postal). Deadline: Complete the online form by 4 June 2025 to let us know of your intention to vote via email. On 5 June we will send you the voting form and instructions on how to complete it and send it to the IPWSO scrutineer. Your completed vote must be submitted by 5:00 PM MST, 26 June.
If you’re not attending in person, you can join the Assembly via Zoom.
