EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING
Notice is hereby given that, in terms of Article 7 of the Statutes, an Extraordinary General Meeting of IPWSO has been called by the Board Directors of IPWSO for Sunday 23 May 2010 at 1:30pm local time at the Taipei County Government Conference Hall, No 161, Sec 1, Jhongshan Rd, Bianciao City, Taipei County 22001, Taiwan. The sole purpose of the meeting will be to consider the attached motion, Motion Number IPWSO 1/2010, proposed by the Board of Directors of IPWSO to amend the Statutes.

Notice is hereby given that, in terms of Article 7 of the Statutes, a General Meeting of IPWSO has been called by the Board Directors of IPWSO for Sunday 23 May 2010 at 3:00pm local time at the Taipei County Government Conference Hall, No 161, Sec 1, Jhongshan Rd, Bianciao City, Taipei County 22001, Taiwan. The Purpose of the meeting is set out in the attached agenda, and includes consideration of the Motion Number IPWSO 1/2010, proposed by the Board of Directors of IPWSO to amend the Statutes, if such motion is adopted in full or amended by the Extraordinary General Meeting held at 1:30pm earlier.

NOTICE TO MEMBERS IN RESPECT OF EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING AND GENERAL MEETING
The President, who is the chairman of both meetings, has requested me to inform you of the procedure at both meetings in respect of representation and voting.
1. It is hoped that all persons attending the conference will be able to observe the proceedings, provided there is sufficient space.
2. The chairman will regulate speaking at the meeting taking into account the numbers of those who wish to address the meeting and time available.
3. Only one representative, either parent or professional from a member in good standing will be allowed to cast a vote where a vote is called.
4. Member – PWS Associations – must kindly indicate at least 30 days before the meeting who their voting delegate is. Kindly inform the Hon. Secretary of the Chief Executive in writing.
5. The chairman has indicated that he may seek the advice of the auditors and/ or legal adviser where it may be necessary to determine if a member is good standing.
